Exploring Pay-Per-Click Campaigns

Today, I’ll show you something really interesting: pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. We’re doing experiments with ads on Google and Facebook to see if they can help us get more phone calls directly to our office in Forever Florida Real Estate, located in Pinellas County.

First Results from Our Campaign

We just started these ads about three hours ago, and guess what? They’ve already gotten two clicks! Each click cost us 95 cents, which seems pretty good. I’ll explain a bit about what a ‘click-through rate’ or CTR is—it’s a way to see how many people are clicking our ads compared to how many see them. So far, it’s looking good!

Setting Up Google Ads

Let’s dive into how we set up our Google ad. When you create a campaign in Google, you can choose to make phone calls your main goal. This means that people can see our phone number right in the ad and call us with just one click—super handy, especially for folks using their phones.

Detailed Steps in Google Ads

To get this all set up, you start a new campaign and choose what your ad is aiming to do. We’re focusing on getting calls, so we picked that option. Remember, you’ll also need to set up some stuff in the ‘conversions’ section of Google Ads to track everything properly.

Creating Facebook Ads

Moving over to Facebook, it’s a bit different but still exciting. We set up an ad that also aims to get phone calls. The ad tells people about the great deals on homes they might find if they call us—perfect for anyone thinking about buying a second home or an investment property in our area.

Visuals and Timing

We added a silent video clip showing a beautiful view of our city, which helps grab attention. Also, both Google and Facebook ads are set to run only during business hours, which makes sure we’re ready to answer calls when they come in.

Looking Ahead

If these tests turn out well, I plan to make more detailed tutorials, maybe even step-by-step guides, on how to do all of this on your own. We might also use special phone numbers to track where calls come from, which can help us understand what’s working best.
