Why I Need to Leave Early

I have to tell you something funny – I need to leave early today, not because I have a big, serious appointment, but because I’m going to the barber! It’s the daddy-daughter dance tonight, and I want to look my best. My barber only had time for me at 10:30 this morning. So, I need to hurry there after the show!

Switching Plans

I was going to make a video about something Ryan shared earlier this week, but plans change, right? I got a new listing for a house somewhat unexpectedly. So, I turned this new listing into the topic for my weekly email newsletter. I think it’s important to be open and honest, so I’m telling you all about it.

The Just Listed Email Newsletter

My clients, Calli and Dylan, bought their home back in May 2020. They have a growing family, a little girl, and maybe a dog or two. They’ve decided to move to a new, larger house because they need more space. The new house is a four-bedroom in South Middleton, and it’s perfect for them. We’ve just put their current home on the market.

We managed to get everything ready in less than 24 hours, which is super fast! We didn’t even have time to get professional photos taken before listing the house online, but don’t worry, those photos are coming soon. If you’re curious, I can send them to you as soon as we have them.

Learning and Improving

I’ve realized I need to do a better job in my newsletters. Telling stories about my clients, like I just did, makes the newsletter more interesting. So, I promise to keep getting better at this.

Social Media Post of the Day

Let’s talk about something else really quick – the social media post of the day. I usually stay away from touchy subjects like religion or politics, but today I made a post about the new tax credit proposal from the president. It’s supposed to help first-time homebuyers and those selling their starter homes. I’m not sure if it will make homes more or less expensive, but it’s definitely big news for our industry.

KV Core and CRM Tips

If you’re wondering how to keep in touch with your clients or manage your real estate listings, I have a tip for you. Use a CRM system like KV Core. Today, I showed how to send out an email about a listing. It’s pretty easy, and it keeps everyone updated about what’s new and exciting in real estate.
