Today’s Special Mention

Just so you know, Josh isn’t here today, so I’m flying solo. Let’s dive into our social post of the day. We’ve been talking a lot about mortgage interest rates lately because they’re super important for buying houses. The big news is that the Federal Reserve decided not to change interest rates right now, but they might lower them three times next year. This could mean cheaper loans for people buying homes or refinancing. It’s a big deal because it helps decide how much you pay every month for your house!

Tip for the Day

Because of these changes, mortgage rates have dropped a lot. For example, the FHA 30-year fixed rate is now at 6.23%. If you or someone you know is thinking about refinancing or buying an investment property, now might be a really good time to look into it. Rates might bounce back up, so it’s smart to act quickly.

Resource Highlight

Josh did a cool HELOC class this week (HELOC stands for Home Equity Line of Credit). This might be helpful if you need some extra money for Christmas expenses or upcoming taxes. Check out the class at to learn more.

Tech Tip Thursday Focus: Productivity Tools

As the end of the year approaches, it’s a good time to start planning for 2024. I like to look back at my to-do list and think about what I didn’t get done and what I need to focus on next year. This makes me think about the tools and apps that help me stay organized.

Featured Book: Getting Things Done

One of my favorite productivity books is “Getting Things Done” by David Allen. It’s all about organizing your life into different projects and figuring out what you need to do next for each one. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it—it’s a great read for managing your tasks and reducing stress.

Exploring Todoist

One of the apps I use a lot is Todoist. It’s super easy to use, and you can start for free. It helps you keep track of everything you need to do, from daily chores to big projects. I even use it to remember passwords, which maybe isn’t the safest thing, but it shows you can keep all sorts of information in there!

How to Use Todoist

In Todoist, you can add tasks with due dates, and it even understands natural language when you set recurring tasks. It syncs with your Google Calendar so you can see your tasks there too. You can organize tasks into projects, like managing transactions or generating leads, and keep everything neatly organized in one place.
